Our History

~ Humble Beginnings

Sencat was launched in 2014 to build on the success of sister company Lancashire Gas Services. Our customers, ranging from one-person operations through to local authorities and the NHS, had been so impressed with the quality of our heating and cooling work that they asked us to take on an ever-broader range of projects.

~ Nationwide Service

We launched Sencat to embrace our new vision: to be a one-stop-shop for all building, maintenance and emergency repairs serving the entire United Kingdom. Today, we’re based in 25,000sq ft premises in the heart of Preston, employing a team of more than 130 and a fleet of nearly 150 vehicles.

Although we have grown way beyond anything we could have imagined in our earliest days, our core ethos remains the same: to go above and beyond. By treating our employees as family, our customers as friends and their properties as though they were our own, we have become the company of choice for businesses big and small throughout the country.
